"Do yourself a FAVOR & find somewhere else to stay in Mt. Pleasant!!!. Outdated building, decor, hallways, rooms & unhelpful staff. Was told at check in time (3pm) to "come back in about half hour" because there were alot of late check outs. Room was outdated with very beat up/damaged furniture. Bathroom was the only room to appear somewhat updated. Refrigerator was broken & maintenance was "gone for the day" & we had to throw our leftovers away in addition to not being able to keep a medication in the frig. Ice machine on our floor was out of ice on 2 occasions. Only 1 very small elevator that was quite slow. Had to keep asking for towels. Upon check out, I wanted to get the managers info to ask about a discount for the 1st night since the frig was broken but staff conveniently didn't have that information & told me to call on Monday after 10am because management wasn't in on the weekends!? BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL."

"We booked 2 rooms with breakfast for 2 in each room. They do not have it worked out with the breakfast counter. I was still charged for breakfast on my final bill which they said they would rectify. I still have not seen the refund. "

"This hotel was clean and on the oceanfront. The room was small, the refrigerator had no controls so you couldn't make it colder. The TV only had streaming channels, no local channels so no news for a few days. The hotel wasn't bad but I don't think I would stay there again."

"The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a wide variety of hot and cold for breakfast. The front desk ladies were super patient and friendly. Even when one guest wanted a refund because the water in her toilet was too hot! Thanks for a great stay"

"The room was dirty. There is no carpet but the floors were so dirty, my feet were black if I walked barefoot out of bed. The toilet and shower were clean but the walls and floor of the bathroom were not clean. The parking is ridiculous, I saw 3 cars run into walls or poles under the building and then we got a parking ticket for parking on the street. Two out of 3 staff were nice. The first counter person in the hotel told us we could pay $100 to check in 30 minutes early upon arrival. There was a wrestling match going on next door and it was soooo loud but they could not accommodate us in another room on the other side of the hotel. All in all the pictures are deceiving. The hotel is not nice!"
