"This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed at in my life. There are no elevators. We were put in the basement, “floor 1”, and had to carry everything up and down the stairs, which took about a dozen trips. We are not young, my husband is 74 and I am almost 67. If you book here and are elderly and cannot manage steps, request the “second floor“ which is the entry level. The room was VERY small, dark and ugly, with a high window, (because we were in the basement), that was dirty, sporting a lovely view of weeds and powerlines. However, it was clean enough. The girls at reception were very friendly and terribly overworked. They offered to help with our luggage, while at the same time checking in other guests. Later, one of them brought the extra pillows and caffeinated coffee pods we requested, (as only decaf pods were provided). They did everything with a bright smile on their faces. I hope they are paid well, but I doubt it. The batteries in the TV remote were dead. There were no luggage racks. There was nowhere to hang a towel in the tub/shower area. The pillows were so small we had to ask for three more. There was an ironing board, but no iron. I didn’t sample breakfast, but my husband said it was dreadful. The coffee pods we were given were also dreadful.
We stayed here because it appeared to be the only hotel in the area that accepts cats. So please, unless you’re traveling with a feline, be sure to avoid this establishment! Oh, and it was expensive to boot!"
