"Daughter is an incoming freshman at UK…we stayed at the Elwood for 2 nights for her orientation…it was great! Location was good…staff very nice and accomodating and the restaurant food/service was good. I would recommend."

Haven’t had such a great hotel bed in a while, the sheets/blankets/pillows were amazing. Hoping i can find the same items to purchase for my home. Will stay here again on my next visit to Lexington."

"This hotel is in a great location. It was a really clean room and very big. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be, they don't validate your parking, so I had to pay $22 a night even though I was staying at the hotel. I feel like the room cost plenty without having to pay for a parking spot as well."

"At breakfast there was not enough spoons for guests. The water in my room was not running when I called the front desk they said it was because of a flood and that they had sent a message but never got one."

"Room was clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent. However, the bed was a little lumpy, not all the bathroom mirror lights would stay lit, and the elevators are a bit small to accommodate the luggage carts."

"It’s a nice hotel and it’s clean however it is a bit outdated. It’s a short drive from the airport and within walking distance to other restaurants and points of interest. The front desk staff were amazing. The breakfast was good and the morning staff fast and friendly on all four mornings. The dinner food there was not too good and staff were extremely slow on all three nights. They were however friendly. I would stay again but not eat dinners there."

"It’s in a historical landmark building so I get that it’s old. But the tile floors were pretty dingy looking. The corners in the rooms seemed to be overlooked when cleaned. Very convenient location to bars and restaurants. Staff was great."

"We enjoyed our stay. Loved the ambience. Rackroom was great. Staff was wonderful. Had a great stay. We had a large and beautiful suite. Hallway carpets were worn and appeared to be dirty. Should be replaced."
