"The sheets were clean. There were new lampshades. But the surfaces that were cleaned had cleaner residue, and any non-essential surface had not been cleaned in years. The lamps themselves had SOOO much fly poop, and their switches were sticky. The hairdryer looked like it had sat beside a deep fryer for six months. The countertop was so cracked that it was supported by a 2x4 so it didn't fall off the wall. But it was a place to sleep. And it didn't have bedbugs."

It would get cold and then it would be hot before it would come back on five or more degrees difference in the temperature...

"Overall my stay was fine. Hotel a little dated but nicely sequestered back away from all the traffic. I could still hear traffic at night but did not bother me too much. Location was positive, close to shopping and food. The room could have used a deep clean. Overall it was fine but the curtains did not look like they had ever been washed and the remote needed to be deeply sanitized. The bed seemed fine and bathroom was well cleaned.
