"We liked everything except that they couldn't accommodate us for an extension inspite of having the room available. They were charging us almost 1.5 times more than the price that we had paid earlier."

"The hotel was right on the lake and had a lovely beach. A great place for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s many winery’s to visit close by. You can make your own meals or there’s a good selection of restaurants near the hotel. I would definitely recommend The Poplars Hotel."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are new and clean. The pool and hot tub was well maintained as well. The only thing that could be better is the access to the pool...we had to walk around the whole building to get to the pool and back to the room."

"Nice property backing into the beach with a shallow swimming area. Lounge chairs available for use. Rooms could use updating but nice having a kitchen. Air conditioner when on was very cold and no adjustment switch and vent cover to direct flow was missing."

"Had the cabin which with 3 bedrooms and pull out with a kitchen. Also had 2 parking spots and a place sit and barbeque (never had a chance to use). Cabin and outside area are fairly clean but very dated. Bathroom was updated. The couch had a old cloth cover on it. Inside smelled like old cigarettes. Expected more for the large sum paid. The dishwasher leaked when we used it a it took us a long time to get the TV to work due to wire problems (had to move the wires to get power to stay on the TV...
