"The property was clean and efficient. Perfectly located for walkable paths, the beach, downtown. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Our only issue was with parking an extended box truck which was tricky, but doable with a lot of patience. The pool area was clean, and staff friendly and attentive. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. Loved our oversized patio over the pool area."

"I love staying at Desert Surfside when visiting Osoyoos and it is one of our go-to places to stay when visiting. It has a great location, is reasonably priced and right on the beach. The staff are also incredibly friendly."

"Staff very friendly & helpful early checking was provided. Breakfast was OK with Tim Horton muffins & fresh bagels. Door to building did not close properly so often wasnt locked creating a security risk. Bed was too hard and pillows cheap. The patio and lake view was lovely!"

"The view from our fourth floor room overlooked the lake and was very nice! The hotel is run down and needs more than a paint job to fix it! There are a lot better hotels around the world that are cheaper than the money we paid. But, location is everything."

"The room was clean and well laid out. I liked the murals painted on the dividers for the lower floor rooms. Probably the lowest price motel in Osoyoos and being right on the beach is a definite plus. The beach is nice and we'll kept. A great bargain and will stay there again. The only negatives are - the ony plugs available are in the bathroom. Nowhere to hang up clothes which didn't matter to me but might matter to someone else. And every time we turned the TV on we had to change the input on...

"The rooms are small and building entrance was not clean. Our room fridge n freezer was not working and front desk staff tried to charge us extra to switch us to a room with working fridge n freezer. After checking 2 different rooms with all no minibar working, the staff upgraded us to bigger room sounding like it was our fault that their amenities doesn't work. They had beautiful pool open till 10pm. Location is nice."

"I had a very large clean room well shaded and cross room ventilation was wonderful so I didn’t have to use the AC even though it was 34°C outside. I am 83 years old travelling along with my dog and I felt very safe. I would stay again."

"Basic accommodation with decent beds- slightly smaller than queen- and a full kitchen. The fact that the rooms are 20 feet from your car makes it very convenient. Wish there was a hand broom and dustpan, or broom."

"I highly recommend this motel! It was freshly renovated, clean both in the room and grounds, the staff were courteous and helpful. They have a good kitchen set up with a normal size fridge, stove, microwave and dishes. Pool was clean, a back deck to relax on and not far from town."
