"Grand floor room was very nice. Clean with plenty of amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant could have been better but still 5 stars overall. "

"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "The staff, and the head chef and everyone involved, were extremely helpful and very respectful. Despite our language barrier, everyone was polite and kind. Very sad to leave, but no doubt that we will recommend the Granbell to anyone. "
"The Knot is in Shinjuku but on the quiet side. It can be a little confusing to find metro entrances and figuring out the best exits but it’s convenient to major lines. We also used the 51 bus. From Shibuya to the hotel is an easy route. The breakfast made our days better! Started off long days of exploring Tokyo with a delicious breakfast and the variety allowed us lots of variations in meals.
Not luxurious but comfortable and good value. "
"We come to Tokyo twice a year to visit family and always stay at this hotel. You can't beat the convenience of the location! And the hotel is in great condition! The staff is so nice and the rooms are so clean! I wish I had bad things to say because it has become so popular that it is getting harder to book!!
