"From the moment we stepped into the Fogcather office to check in to the last minute of our stay, we loved every minute. Julii was so friendly and even joked with us as we checked in. June who was the manager was delightful and even upgraded our room to an ocean front. June also helped us get acquainted with local wines and even let us use wine glasses to enjoy our Hearst wine. "Is a beautiful resort, I've stayed at other resorts in Cambria and this is my favorite! Trails to walk on from the resort, path to beach, we had the double Queen room and King with fireplace, both rooms are really nice but the king with fireplace was very nice. We will be back!"

"Easy check in, close to beach, ocean views from our room, walk to restaurants, few minute drive to cambria and hearst castle abput 20 minutes , great location, fridge micro also, pet friendly with no extra fees fur them so thats always a plus, we will stay again definitely, tho they are doing construction and remodeling atm we stayed june 2025 but it didnt interrupt any part of the stay thankfully 😀 we loved it"

"Stayed one night after visiting Hearst castle. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. It is a smaller, older hotel, but has everything large ones have. Our ocean view room with balcony was great! Property has pool and spa with fire pit. Reception area had coffee, teas and cookies when we checked in. Breakfast was amazing! I will definitely stay there again. "

"The room was exactly what was described when we were shopping for one. I was here (diff hotel, but wished it was here), two days ago, and it was the perfect day and night for San Simeon’s beaches!
