The Ragged Point Inn is absolutely stunning! Room was great! On site dining is top notch! However, the face of the Ragged Point Inn is Yvonne. She is the lady we were “greeted” by upon check in. She must have had her customer etiquette training from the Motel 6 in Butonwillow Ca. She was rode and over spoke during as we were checking in. We had some simple questions as we were checking in and as we asked them, we were immediately silenced and hushed. We’re were told, “wait until I am done”.
That being said, Yvonne gave is her “welcome speech” and that included that there is only 1 EV charger on site and it is “first come, first serve”.
The charger happened to be next to the building we were staying in and happened to be open.
We plugged our car in and the charger seemed to be not working properly.
We got to our room with was beautiful by the way, and about 6:20 there was a knock on the door. It was Yvonne asking us to move our car because someone else needed it.
We went down to the car and showed her that the charger wasn’t working properly and I had even walked to the circuit breaker and tripped the fuse.
She then wiggled the cord and it seemed to be working.
She then asked us to move our car and the hotel shouldn’t even have an EV charger because it’s not fair that people hog them.
She asked us to move again and said we should have moved our car when we realized that the charger wasn’t working properly.
I asked her how I was to know her that was the rule? She was rude!
