We had a fantastic welcome, dined nearby in a world class restaurant serving only local food right in the middle of a vineyard and had breakfast on a terrace in front of a historic chateaux - life rarely gets better!! Unfortunately the inside of the property doesn’t have the character remaining in most of the rooms , and some of the decor is odd and not in keeping with the standard of finish I would expect in such an elegant building . Had a nice stay though , and all the staff were hard working and very attentive "
