"Loved everything about this hotel. Location is great. Walking distance from everything, including the Gare du Palais if you don't mind a steep climb. My husband and I managed and we are Senoirs. Helpful staff, nice lounge with a great coffee machine. The breakfast picnic basket is the perfect start to the day. Bistro Hotus served an excellent dinner. "

"Great property, excellent location, friendly staff, very clean and proper. The only criticism I would make is the parking. I do understand that they don’t have a parking area, but it would make them extremely desirable and preferable much more than now if they had make an agreement with the parking facility across the street, absorb the fee and offer complimentary parking to the guests. This would give them an amazing competitive advantage and drive the occupancy. "

"This property was beyond our expectations! It was right in the heart of history, art, culture and more! Easy walk to coffee, restaurants, artisan shops and a lovely walk (climb) to the historic Frontenac. The property is full of history and character but still offers all the modern amenities. Kitchen although we discuss it - was fully stocked if you choose to use. Bed was comfy and the large windows made the suite bright. Highly recommend! "

"Our rooms were lovely and very clean. The little touches in the common room were nice and I loved that the property offered water pitchers for the room with filtered water as well as personal ice machines in both of our rooms. We didn’t know that we were able to rent the bicycles our first half of the trip but when we figured it out, we rented them and it made getting to the other locations on the island so much easier! "First time in Quebec city - loved everything about it. I could not believe that the young women not only carried the heavy suitcases up and down the stairs, but refused a tip as we were leaving. I have never heard of that in my life, anywhere in the world. Very European, totally walkable city. Loved hearing French everywhere."

"Hidden treasure !! Loved the QUIET..!!, excellent rooms and bathroom, the breakfast is AMAZING....& GREAT COFFEE. Very walk-able within the Old Quebec City...did not need a car for what we wanted to experience. The Promenade, Chateau Frontenac, Citadel, walk top of citadel walls, amazing restaurants which we need to return to try more! Book a private walking tour....early...certainly helps with orientation & history. Hotel des Augustines is ..actually....perfect."
