Great place to stay. Close to rail and subway stations. Zhongshan Rd is closed to cars, so it is easy to walk to the numerous small shops and restaurants. Hongqiao Pier is right down the street.

Location is great. Very walkable area since car traffic is not allowed around this area. Beach, German street are all very close. We also like the chocolate museum nearby. Lot of food and drink options. You can get all flavors of beer everywhere. Hotel rooms are clean but not much other facilities.

We are Singapore tourists. The hotel's location is great, near quite a few of attractions and the main railway station. It is a kind of old-style hotel though. Room is small and clean, which is acceptable for me. The front desk lady was quite kind and always willing to help. The hotel's seafood restaurant is great as well/

Qingdao - a nice experience

It is conveniently locate near to subway and train station. Additionally, it is close to nearby a night market and tour area. The room is clean, but the carpet in the hallway can improve. People work at hotel is polite and professional.

Staff spoke English quite well. And also provided reliable information regarding travel. And 2 days prior to check in I was sent a message from the hotel regarding how to get from the airport to the hotel. This information was very helpful. They also provided free breakfast coupons which were nice.

Overall it was a good stay. Staff were friendly. We stayed at a family room and it was spacious, although bathroom is a bit small. It is clean and they clean it every day but I dont think they changed the sheets. Location is really good and breakfast is good for chinese because it is all chinese food. Only non chinese food is bread and cereal 😅. If we visit qingdao again, we will chose this hotel. Value for money! 😁

Staff was really nice and check in and out was easy! Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, nobody greeted me in the restaurant and the only staff there was literally asleep at a table in the dark next to the buffet. Overall the room was extremely clean and cleaned everyday, but there was a used bandage hanging from the curtain. I still say that it was clean because I can see how the bandage could have been missed as it was in a very hidden spot on the curtain. Overall I highly recommend staying here as I could almost walk to all major attractions in the area.

I was aware the hotel was old and that was ok for me but many things were broken and not functional. For example, the door of the cabinet for refrigerator literally fell off. The toilet was wobbling when you sat on it. The wifi never worked even though there appeared to be multiple connection points. The area next to the elevator was cluttered with bottled waters and other stuffs. On the positive side, the staff were super friendly. The area was busy and fun to walk around at night.
