A weekend in Qingdao

As Holiday Inns in China go, this one was actually very good. The free breakfast was very nice, with plenty of Western and Chinese foods to choose from. The bed was what I would call pretty close to the Western standard of softness, and the overall cleanliness of the entire hotel was impressive.

Desk staff was always very helpful and courteous, most spoke very good English, and were always happy to help with local directions, helping with directions for taxi, etc. Very nice hotel, and great breakfast!

The hotel is clean and there are many eateries nearby. Conveniently located near the airport. However the bathroom is a little small and feels cramped as there is not much room for movement. The room is neat and simple. Minimalistic design. Overall a good experience.

편리한 호텔

출장으로 이용하기에 너무 좋은 호텔입니다. 방 크기도 휼륭하고 각층마다 엘리베이터 앞에 생수를 추가로 가져갈 수 있게 한 점이 너무 좋았습니다. 로비에는 24시간 커피머신을 오픈해놓아서 원두를 기계로 갈아서 만든 커피를 마실 수 있습니다. 다만 조식이 다른 호텔에 비해 중국음식 비중이 높은 점이 단점인 듯 합니다.

두 객실이 연결된 방의 방음 문제... 601호 602호

601호, 602호 두 객실이 얇은 나무 문으로 연결되어 있는 방인데...방음이 않되어서 시끄러우니 방음장치를 하던지 문을 폐쇄하던지 하셔야 할듯...601호 602호..

The hotel is neat and tidy but you can hear some karaoke in the middle of the night. Pretty much no one can speak English but they do have some people that understand a bit Korean. Breakfast is simple. The current address of this hotel on Hotels.com is wrong so double check before going to this hote.
