It was disappointing that you couldn’t get something to eat for dinner. The rooms were hot, between 27-30 degrees. The rooms were tired, dated and in need of refurbishment. It was like turning back the clock 15 years.

Extremely welcoming and comfortable stay
Every stay at Sheraton Qingdao Chengyang hotel felt great as the staff made every guest feel as ease and are extremely welcoming. Would like to also commend, Bryan, who went out of his way to assist in making my stay more comfortable. Overall, a more than satisfied stay

disappointed with service during the stay
-area is ok for finding small restaurants -wifi is very very slow -had a big box left at concierge, need to take it outside of the main lobby door for easier loading to waiting car, lady told me to get the trolley and place box on trolley myself, i didnt mind her and waited for some male staff to help me take it outside -had to leave early on date of checkout (630am) advised front desk if possible to have my breakfast delivered to my room at 530am, a lady who seems to be in management (not front desk staff) took note and advised a male staff to prepare the simple breakfast for me, woke up at 5am, waiting for the breakfast till 545, called front desk to remind them they said yes, waited till almost 630am and still no breakfast delivered! left hotel afterwards with no breakfast!

The front desk staff were very helpful. Hope this hotel would offer free breakfast buffet in the future. Also, more frequent airport shuffle should be provided given that it is less than 2 miles away from the Liuting airport.

Excellent Service and Cleanliness in Qingdao
The hotel is very well maintained and I found the room was spotless. The service at check-in was excellent they were very helpful and spoke English very well. The restaurant staff at breakfast were equally as good. Overall the service and cleanliness of the hotel were impeccable. I have stayed at this hotel many times and found this level of service and cleanliness every time. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport and only costs around ¥12 - ¥14 to get there by taxi. There are many different restaurants close by which are cheap, however, some are not clean and I would avoid eating salads or having any drinks with ice. The hotel was close to the Business area and is not located near the tourist areas

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. Both times the shower was only luke warm. I couldn't have a warm shower in the morning or in the afternoon. When we arrived the corridor lights were off so we used our mobile phone light to find our rooms. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Comfortable and competitive pricing 4 * Hotel
I came really late on Tuesday night around close to 1:00 AM in the morning due to flight delay from Detroit. I took a taxi from the airport to the Hotel, and it take less than 15 minutes drive and cost less than 20 RMB. The night manager did sell out my reserved room, but he offered me immediately a replacement one. The Hotel was fully booked due to the Qingdao Seafood Expo. It was around 2:00 AM on Wednesday Nov 2nd, I was looking for something to eat, and the night manager make the order for me at the kitchen so the cook brought up a nice steaming bowl of beef noodles soup. I do appreciate very much the staff courtesy and kindness. The room is a standard room with two twin sizes bed, comfortable enough to stay there for 2 nights. Breakfast buffet was very nice and comfortable with more oriental dishes than European and North American. In general, all staff speak Chinese, but make big efforts to accommodate and please you. The Hotel is a bit far away from the Convention center, but there are plenty of taxi which can take you there for 150 RMB, which is very acceptable. Taxi drivers in Qingdao are very polite and reliable people.
