"From check in to check out, everything was perfect. Yes there is work being done on the lobby and the building is being painted but that just means the Marriott cares and is clean on the outside as well as the inside. "The property is in a great location, walkable to many restaurants. Room was very clean but the bathroom was underwhelming: with no shower door and water plashing in front of the toilet. The sink was actually in the bedroom, which was annoying as you're always making more noise than you would if it was in the bathroom. "Disgusting and we refused to stay there. Although it’s not in a bad area, we did not feel safe. Property had obviously not been maintained in a while, grass was overgrown. Garbage in lobby was overflowing, floors were dirty. Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to tell them we weren’t staying. Refunded our money and said we had to go through Expedia to get it processed because that is who we booked our stay through. That night the hotel recharged the credit card and,...

"Facility was open 1 month. Rooms were well kept,,,bedding & bathrobes -top shelf. Room had adequate closet space ,,,,but did lack drawer space. Very large bathroom --but 2 sink vanity was on the small side. Staff was good, helpful & pleasant (some waiter service, needed more "seasoning". Town of Beacon very nice ---plenty of nice restaurants & pubs. Overall a very good experience."
