Loved the resort. My son had a blast and the experiences outside the park are super easy accessible!! The only issue I had was with a Leslee inside the room, it was around the bed and it was quite uncomfortable at moments for my son. Other than that the hotel is amazing, food options was great and not all but some of the staff was exceptional!!

Beautiful property, friendly staff, food was very good. This resort really caters to kids and has great evening shows with acrobats and dancers. They also have entertainment staff that did fun activities with the kids at the pool and the water park was great too.

Hotel was great, staff was nice and friendly. Just check the details when flying in. Santa Domingo airport is 2 hours away and requires taxi service (booked through hotel). Closer airport in Punta Cana, but probably books up fast. It was mentioned shuttle service wasn’t included if you don’t book through hotel, so check. There were many activities/excursions available at the hotel, that weren’t on app. App is ok, but lacking a bit. US dollars accepted everywhere in hotel. Had a great time, lots of activities for kids. Surface around pool is a bit slippery, so go slow. Be aware that Catalina island excursion leaves at 7 am and is all day, but they don’t mention you’ll drive around for about 2 hours on bus picking up at other resorts. Order room service for day of, since breakfast opens at 7 am. Overall, great trip, everyone had a fun time!

We stayed at the property for a week back in February 2024 for our twins' 7th birthday. Let me start off with the good things: Ruben and Frandy at Larimar! They were genuine, amazing guys. Truly went above and beyond to provide superb service. Unfortunately, that was the only amazing part that stood out for us. Now to the reasons why we would not come back 1. Poor customer service from the very minute of arriving to the resort. Wilson barely said anything during the check in. Just told us that our room wasn't going to be ready for another 2-3 hours. 2. Food allergies! Out of all the places we ate at, only one asked about the allergies during the entire stay. The buffets don't list caution signs about allergies. It's a medical emergency waiting to happen. 3. No designated smoking areas. This is a family friendly resort with a high emphasis on kids and you have people smoking all over the place. 4. The phone app - slow, not clear about opening times for restaurants, events, etc. 5. Constant upselling at an all inclusive resort - wave rider, dolphin experience, photos, etc. 6. The room: Regular size iron/board or steamer would do. I understand it's a kid friendly resort, but providing a baby sized iron and and board is a terrible idea. Mold found on shower heads and some of the decorative pillows. 7. Watered down alcohol and lack of real bartenders that know how to make drinks. 8. What is the VIP experience started on Expedia? Nobody ever mentioned anything about it.

Room leaked at 3AM, took about 40mins for someone to come after going to reception twice but leak eventually stopped by then. Facilities are good, staff are friendly & helpful but food was average.

All inclusive! Very clean! We feel safe here! People are very friendly! Everything is accessible, walkable and also, there’s an option to take a trolley or train as they call it there to get to places within the resort. There is a buffet by the beach! The only downside was the water park adjacent to our suite was being updated/re-painted so we couldnt really use that. However, there are multiple other water parks to choose from that are included in the all-inclusive package that are easy to get to! Would definitely recommend this resort!

recently had the pleasure of staying at a resort in the Dominican Republic, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The staff, particularly Dilcia, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Dilcia's warm demeanor and exceptional hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest. The resort itself was stunning, with pristine beaches, luxurious accommodations, and a wide array of activities to enjoy. From delicious meals to attentive service, every aspect of my experience was top-notch. I can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories at this incredible resort, thanks to Dilcia and the entire staff.

Nice family resort even though it feels kinda out dated. PRO: 1) a lot of space outside and inside of the properties. 2) lots of pools and frequent shuttle to the beach 3) lots of good food. CONs: 1) Properties little out dated 2) Not much variety of fruits in the buffet (I’ve seen couple cockroaches between pieces of cakes) 3) kids’ water park got closed for remodeling on the second day after I arrived with my family and friends.

He was an OK experience rather than excellent. The food was OK and there are many Bahia Principe property and every time you cross over to a different property they will give you a hard time with giving a food or towels. He was inconvenient.

Amazing time at Bahia Principe Fantasia! Highly recommend, especially if traveling with kids. So many activities all day, everyday! All the staff have been friendly, sweet, and super accommodating! Entertainment staff has been great at keeping everyone engaged in all activities going on throughout the resort! Food was great and within the multiple resorts restaurants were abundant!

We went to BP Fantasia with our one year old. The resort is kid friendly and we liked it very much that you can roam around and the enjoy the amenities of all the other 6 BP resorts. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Overall enjoyed our family vacation. My toddler came home very sick with fever, diarrhea, and a terrible rash all over. Doctor said from dirty warm pool water where bacteria thrive. Lots of people peeing in water I suppose. Beds were absolutely awful and never got a good sleep. Got sick of the buffet food at the end. Lots of weird unfamiliar items. Rooms need more deep cleaning in between guests. Dust from fan on wall, furniture worn down, drawers hard to open. Not luxury as they claim. Hard to figure out where and when to eat and asked if they had a list and said go the app which doesn't always help. Trolley hard to figure out but we got it towards the end. Staff was the best!! So nice and friendly with us and the kids. Food at restaurants was decent but the Brazilian steak place was awful. Dry hard meat and they did not bring more until we flagged them down. The property was beautiful and well kept at every resort we visited. Seems we always had to ask for things that they said were restocked daily. Had to ask for toilet paper on the first day as there was none in room. To sum it up, great place for kids, safe and secure, food could be better, and rooms need updating and better beds. Staff was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 3 with a 4 year old girl. Food was mostly good, we liked most of our meals. Buffet becomes repetitive so good thing to switch it up, lunch at the beach, pool bar etc and dinners at a la Carte. Least favorite restaurant was the Greek, favorite was Maliki hibachi and Thali. The grounds were beautiful and clean and perfect for young kids. My daughter had the time of her life! I do wish evening activities were earlier. Most start around 9pm- she goes to bed at 630/7, so the princess show and light show were out of the question for us. Also the light show at the castle was LOUD if you have a room nearby and facing the castle.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The kids loved the pool and activities around the resort. We loved all the food at the resort except a Japanese restaurant called Mikado. Highly recommended to stay away from this Japanese restaurant. They send all the guests around the circle and not honor the reservation. Worst experience ever. Food were bad, slow services, rude staff. As for the resort, we feel safe and had a good time however some of the check in staff needs to work on their customer service skill. Some were rude. Minus one star for the rude staff and workers. The hotel should train their workers to be more friendly and smiles that would make the whole experience more enjoyable.
