"If you stay here, you better be prepared because there was nothing in the room except an iron and ironing board - no glasses, no hair dryer, no coffee in room or anywhere on the property. We needed a cup for water and I had to get the front desk to raid the breakfast closet. Otherwise the room was quite nice and had a kitchen. But to use it, you have to bring everything. We didn't take a shower because we didn't want to walk around with wet hair. Nice room for one night."

"For me, the lobby was great! But once I stepped out the elevator, the hallways felt old and worn. It was a little gloomy as well. The carpet was definitely in need of replacement. The lighting in the bathroom area and shower is not bright enough and the shower head needs replacing. Also there is nowhere to put your own soap in the shower. I’m not using those ones hanging in the shower…"

"Everything was great except for the powdered eggs. One staff member stood out. Lori, a member of the breakfast staff, was joyful and shared that joy with the guests. She was amazing and a delight to be around. We missed her presents on our second day."

"The Omni resort is very impressive. The pool area and amenities were great. The shuttle service to bring you around the property was very convenient. Our room at the Villa though was very tired and in dire need of some updates (flooring, bathroom fixtures, sliding door, patio area, etc). Other than the room itself, everything else we experienced was top-notch."

"We were highly disappointed. Although we booked through Expedia, we are long time Marriott BonVoy members & this was NOT Marriott quality at all. 1st we got the wrong room. Hours after checking in, I went to front desk & heard a man checking in, last minute with NO RESERVATION & got the room that we were suppose to have!! Really?... 2nd, The hotel had NO TV SVC. Absolutely no TV. After driving from VA, we had very specific plans on how we would end our VERY LONG DAY/NIGHT. Can we survive without TV? Of course, BUT this should be expressed PRIOR to checking in!!!! It was terrible & then found out they lied because they have been having this problem many days before even got there. Woke up in middle of the night _ saw a huge bug crawling out of our room, into the hallway, under the huge gap of room door. Thank God I couldn't see exactly what kind of bug it was in time. That was God because if it were a certain bug, I would have lost my mind....Just not the Marriott standard that I'm used to. "
