"Since this wasn’t exactly a vacation trip for me, I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, swanky, or Instagram-worthy. I just needed a clean, comfortable place to sleep, a safe location conveniently located between the airport and Easthampton/Northampton, and places to eat. Hampton Inn West Springfield checked off the boxes and then some. The complimentary breakfast was so convenient (bagels, pastries, cereals, eggs & bacon/sausage, WAFFLES with chocolate chips!, etc.) and, like their sister Doubletree, they have fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies daily! Who doesn't want to come back after an exhausing day of relatives to the smell of baking cookies? The rooms (or at least my room) wasn't huge but just the right size with a microwave, refrigerator, and the usual. Everything was neat and tidy. The a/c unit was a little loud but it kept the room comfy and it was like white noise putting me to sleep. What really made this a standout place to stay was the staff. The front desk folks are so very friendly, helpful, and took the time to chat—for an extroverted solo traveler, this was a welcome dose of conversation when I otherwise would have been talking to myself! I would definitely stay here again!"

"Our room was beautiful. We had a massage chair which was a surprise. Check in was quick. The young man behind the desk was very kind. Finding the hotel was a little difficult even with Google Maps. More signage is needed maybe? Also I and another person tried to buy wine at check in which was on display at the front desk but the young man was too young to sell it and there was no-one else there to help, That was disappointing."
