"Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel. The buildings are very old and the rooms don't even have a mini fridge — in a hot destination like Cancun, having no way to keep water cold in your room is a real problem.
The location is also a major downside. It's far from everything you'd actually want to do in Cancun, and any taxi ride costs at least $50, which adds up quickly.
The food was basic and not tasty. I was looking forward to fresh tropical fruit, but what was offered didn't look fresh...

"Food excellent. Service great. Pool could use cleaning. Activities bland. Dj music was not modern or in style. Beach shuttle took too long. Chairs and seating area need cleaning and upkeeping. "The hotel itself is beautiful and clean and the ocean front room was the best view I’ve ever had. Staff were friendly and helpful, however, the food was extremely mediocre and not very appetizing. It was a laid-back atmosphere which was what we were looking for. Hotel and staff were well above average but just didn’t care for the food at all. I would like to give a shout out to Dulce at the Wink Lobby Bar! She was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased."
