Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

"Our family just returned from Dreams Vista Cancún. While the rooms and resort grounds were exceptionally clean and beautiful, and the food was great across all the à la carte restaurants and buffets, we ran into two massive issues that every traveler needs to know about. 1- The Demolished Water Park: We booked this resort specifically for its family water park, only to find it completely demolished. Neither Expedia nor our travel agent warned us. We only learned upon arrival that the resort is converting to adults-only next month, which is why the kid-friendly features are being torn out. 2- The "Resort Credit" Trap: Do not fall for Expedia’s "resort credit" promo. In order to get resort credit, a concierge representative promised 90-minute presentation but dragged on for 160 exhausting minutes. It was an incredibly aggressive, high-pressure sales pitch, and the staff actively looked down on us when we declined to purchase their holiday package. Our Savior: Oscar from the Preferred Club The absolute saving grace of our entire trip was Oscar. He was upfront, honest about the transition upon arrival, and went completely out of his way to find alternative ways to accommodate our family so our kids could still have a great vacation. The Verdict: If you are booking a family trip, skip this resort as in the coming month or so it will be an adult only hotel. If you do go, avoid the sales pitches at all costs, and find Oscar at the Preferred Club—he is amazing!"

"Honesty the people who work there are kind and very helpful. The food is great buffet style and on occasionally al carte. They were very respectful and anything you need they are more than happy to help you. Both my boys enjoyed it there the air conditioning in the rooms is really great. The view is amazing and if you’re going to book tours that place has the best people they have great prices and are super honest couldn’t be happier with thier services. Highly recommended"
