We were on a tour of locations from the Inspector Montalbano TV Series. Ragusa was a southern Sicilian location we chose to visit and stay at overnight.

Perched on a hill with deep valleys on three sides separating it from the adjacent plateau, it makes for a beautiful location which can be seen entirely from the upper town.

"I rarely leave reviews, only when really bad or really good, in this case it’s the later, an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning location and views. Ivan took wonderful care of us and seems to have thought of everything to make stays enjoyable. Scicli itself is a great base, full of very good restaurants and bars, close enough to both the towns of Regusa, Modica etc but also beautiful beaches at Donalucatta and Punta Secco"

"What a stunning boutique hotel! Located in a lovely beach town with plenty of beach access, restaurants and shopping. The area is so relaxing and you are an easy drive to some of Sicily’s popular attractions like Modica, Scicli, Ragusa or an afternoon visiting the beautiful Castillo de Donnafugata. "Hotel staff would do anything to help accommodate for our needs. They helped with internet connection to room as best as possible. Due to the size of the premises internet isn't available everywhere. Restraunt food and service was excellent. Even catered for gluten free requirements. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of grass and greenery. The pool area is very relaxing. Only drawbreak is that the premises is away from everything..you really need a car to get around to the very distant places...
