"Cave B&B. Right at the heart of old Matera city. Driving there is not possible, so either have a small luggage or be ready to drag the luggage through medieval streets. There’s a Maison or Casa Cava that is close to drive by to load and unload the luggages, but still hard to drive to. Just a heads up. The host speaks little English. Breakfast has a great selection and very fresh."

"Gefallen hat uns die Lage der Unterkunft sehr nah am historischen Stadtkern. Wäre das Wetter schöner gewesen hätte uns auch der Außenbereich gut gefallen. Es war auch alles vorhanden was man für 2 bis drei Tage braucht. Insgesamt wirkte die Möblierung sehr zusammengestückelt und altmodisch. Was uns aber gestört hat war, dass so viel Nippes herum lag, d.h. unnütze Dekoartikel und deswegen kein Platz um etwas Eigenes abzulegen vorhanden war.
