"This was our second time staying here and we chose it again because the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the valley service is quick and easy, the pool is actually warm, and the rooms are spacious. Location is great and very quiet. I’m not sure if they purposely group rooms together if they have kids but it felt like our strip of rooms was all families and it was pretty loud later than I’d like (11pm and later) with older kids running and playing in the hall and such. "The man that runs this business is great. He remembers who I am each time I return to his motel. It makes me feel special. He's always very kind and friendly. He is always available to help me out with anything I need and to give advice about places nearby. My girlfriend and I have chosen this motel every time we go to Portland for the kind staff, comfortable beds and very low prices. Also it's near plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great place to stay! "
