"My husband and I recently visited Airlie Beach for my 40th birthday, and chose to stay at The Boathouse Apartments as a treat. I am so glad we did, it was amazing! We had come across from Daydream Island around 10am and asked to leave our bags at reception until we could check in. "The room was very quiet and had a relaxing view of the lagoon and trees. Customer service, across the board, was friendly and they went out of their way to assist. Great location, very central and walking distance to most key tourist spots. No steep hills to climb like many other accomodation options in town. This is my second stay at the hotel and i would return again. "

"Great for backpackers and people that don't mind a bit of noise coming from the hotel in the evenings / early night. We booked the self contained cabin thinking it may have been the quietest on site but there were probably other ensuit cabins more towards the back that would have been quieter."

"We had a great 3-night family stay at Whitsunday Terraces in Airlie Beach. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the views are absolutely stunning, which really made the trip special. That said, the kitchen and bathroom are quite dated and in need of an upgrade. The most frustrating part was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, which was a real inconvenience during our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable stay thanks to the location and views, but a few updates would make a big difference."
