"Needs Significant Updates to Common Areas While my guest room was clean and met basic standards, the hotel's common areas are in dire need of renovation. From the moment I entered the lobby, it was clear that this property has been neglected. The most concerning issue was the elevator—not only did it shake noticeably during use, but the inspection permit displayed inside expired in 2021. This is a safety concern that management should address immediately. Throughout the property, I observed multiple maintenance issues: missing and water-stained ceiling tiles, scuff marks and footprints on the lobby floor, a drinking fountain wrapped in tape as if cordoned off, and storage room doors propped open with rags. The "business center" was simply a desk positioned next to the front desk—no private workspace whatsoever. The restaurant area showed similar signs of wear and deferred maintenance. The "market" was essentially a locked curio cabinet with a sparse selection of basics like DayQuil and tampons—hardly convenient for guests' needs. The contrast between my clean room and the deteriorating common spaces was stark. With proper investment in updates and maintenance, this property could meet guest expectations. Until then, I'd recommend considering other options in the area."
