"Stayed 3 times now. Great hotel. Food OK, and rooms are excellent. Location was handy for me, but required an Uber to get to city center. I’ve already booked my 4th stay."

"The hotel was clean and nicely maintained. Our room and bed were very comfy. It was a bit of a walk to the sights so I would have preferred a better located place but overall it was nice."

"Lovely hotel with extremely comfortable beds and clean facilities. Slightly let down by the chaotic scenes trying to get a coffee at the breakfast buffet. Machine both days either running out of milk or needing to empty the discarded ground coffee, resulting in long queues and puzzled customers. The delicious granola I had on the first day wasn’t available on the second day which was disappointing. Overall a good hotel that could improve the breakfast experience with more attention to detail."

"Good value hotel which has parking included. Room was a bit old fashioned but that would not deter us from staying again. Buffet breakfast was quite good however no options for other items such as poached or scrambled eggs. Decaff tea bags in short supply. The location was right by Lime St Station and it was easy to access most areas of Liverpool by foot from the hotel."

"Room was lovely. As before, staff mixed. Algrid and other day staff excellent, but night staff didn't bother to greet me. Very quiet. Clean and comfortable. Great location."

"Position of hotel is excellent for getting around the city centre. Clean room, a minor mishap in the en-suite but staff dealt with it quickly when reported. Overall it was a lovely stay and quiet and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"Very disappointed that when booking this hotel it wasn't clear that you have to pay £50 for a 2 hr slot for the spa. We just wanted to use the pool and the reason we booked this hotel. I have asked Hotels.com to clearly highlight this under the amenities tab rather hidden in the policies section which is pretty hard to find. The Hotel directly said there isn't anything they can do to reimburse us. Just wanted to make people aware!"

"Got into the room and half the electrics didn't work, but then did a few hours later. Bed was a good size and had 2 side tables with working power Loads of space for storage Room had a small fridge in it Curtains didn't fit the windows so let light in around the edges, also the curtain holders were damaged and in need of some tlc The room had all the basics Some stains on the furniture, all the chairs had seen better days The bathroom floor had broken tiles on the floor and the shower was bolted to the wall quite low down anyone over 5'7 would struggle to stand underneath "
