Bathroom not truly separate from the bed area (sliding thin panels) and there was street noise. A lot of non-guests frequent the hotel so it was busy but not in a good way. "We booked through expedia and when we went to check in we were told that our booking was for a standard king room and not the double/twin king room we paid for. We ended up getting back reward credit from expedia but it still worked out that we overpaid for the room. Everything felt like an up sale. Want to check in earlier thats $50, want both your rooms in the same floor that would be $30 per room per night. Want the double/twin king room that we paid for but expedia/crown wrongly booked...

"Our room smelled like cigarette smoke...very disappointing. They offered to move us, but we were unpacked. Housekeeping was not in out room until close to 4 pm the next day. Overall, we expected a bit more. "

"The hotel is right across from Flinders station and about a 10 minute walk from Southern Cross, making it easy to access many places. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. I could easily walk to Hosier Lane and Chinatown. The Southbank Promenade on the Yarra River was about a 10 minute walk. My room was clean and had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. "
