Hotel St. Michael, BW Premier Collection

10/10 Excellent

"We’ve stayed at St. Michels previously and had a rather small room but this room was larger and so nicely appointed. It’s a very old, historical hotel but the restaraunt and bar are very nice and the Speakeasy is such a fun place to hang out or listen to music on the weekends. We plan on staying again since we love Prescott so much."

"Excellent value for the price! We stayed for three nights in August, so it was quiet, comfortable, and not crowded. Favorite feature: Pristine adults-only hottub open until MIDNIGHT every night (and we were usually alone)! But towels are NOT provided for the adult hottub, so request extras at check-in. More first-timer tips: [1] Housekeeping must be scheduled 24 hours in advance; [2] Cable TV is available, but complicated to use … bring your own Roku; [3] Good coffee makers and refrigerators with ice-makers in every room, but only powdered creamer is provided … bring your own."

"Pros: Good price and the staff was nice. Cons: -Elevator seemed a bit shaky and the safety certificate displayed was expired by 2 years. -Side door propped open and pool gate key machine broken so anyone could get in pool area and hotel. -Place could use some deep cleaning and a facelift. Fan in bathroom was disgustingly dirty, shower head shot water out really hard, hole needed patching in bathroom. Cabinetry was patched but not painted. Baseboard by shower looked rotted out and caulk by tub failing. Tub could also use a deep cleaning to get rid of mildew by drain. Pool concrete cracked and chipping. Pool towels were stained and ripped. Cigarette butts on pool patio. Whole place could use some new paint, newer furniture and carpets."

"The lobby was a delight! Whether you want to listen to or play the piano, play one of their many board games, snack on a fresh baked cookie, or lounge outside by the pool or fire pit, there is pretty much a space for everyone! Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Staff recommended a wonderful place for dinner. Highly recommend!"
