"The Quinta Amala was an amazing place. The location with the view over the landscape with rice fields and pine woods was beautiful. Each cabana, house, had privacy and were souronded by beautiful plants and flowers. Beautiful architecture of the houses, the pool area, lounges and dining room. We felt close to nature, silent and relaxing. The food was also very good, including the breakfast with local food. "Nice hotel with parking - compact rooms but functional. The restaurant is a true hidden gem and is undersold! The restaurant was the best meal we had in Portugal. The à la carte menu is well worth trying and the staff are so incredibly helpful. Generous portions - Michelin style presentation and absolutely delicious flavours. We wish we could go again. The breakfast buffet is also great! The underground parking us helpful and we enjoyed the spa. All in all a great stay."

"Overall, the hotel was excellent in every aspect. Unfortunately, the area has a lot of flies and that’s not something they can control when you’re outdoors. The room was very nice and included all the necessary amenities. The pool was a little small but nice and the gym could have more equipment, but the staff is outstanding in taking care of you and everything you need, even before you think about it. I would definitely come back!"
