"Everything was fantastic. But just one note- the furniture that is made in ratan wood, makes noises all night long. It sounded like bugs inside it, but I am pretty sure it is actually just pressure contracting and expanding. It’s a bit hard to sleep. Not sure what the solution is, but wanted to mention it. "My wife found this to be a very basic and quiet place. It could be transformed with a new and nicer kitchen unit and bathroom and matching and clean cutlery and crockery etc. It is nevertheless unique and wonderful. The surroundings are stunning and it is ideally set amongst pine trees not too far from a fantastic beach. Having a little self-contained unit is ideal for children and the price was not excessive, so overall it was still a good choice. "

"Herrliches Apartment bei dem alles neu gebaut ist, mit Panorama-Terassse und eigenem Standzugang zum wunderschönen Strand direkt vor dem Anwesen. Eigene Liegen direkt vor der Tür sowie eine ideale Aussendusche. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden um gut selbst zu kochen. Die Insel hat eine sehr angenehme Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants und Läden und man kann mit dem Fahrrad alle Strände der Insel erkunden (4 Euro am Tag ist der Mietpreis)."

Breakfast was amazing, restaurant for dinner was ok, however table service was poor (maybe it's the island's laid back style?!). We had waterfront rooms that were amazing but starting to show signs of wear and tear. Taxi into town was 16euros each way which can add up after a few trips in and out of town per day.
