My room was always clean, there's plenty of wildlife around the resort including toucans and kinkajous (definitely take the night hike!!), and the pool is always a great option when not taking excursions. "For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us."

"We stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. "Amazing hotel! Comfortable, quiet, cozy and very clean. There was a private deck in the back with tables, chairs, hammock and a fan. The bed was comfortable with fluffy white comforters. There’s a private bar and coffee shop downstairs. It is located in the very heart of San Ignacio and a walking distance from the market. Service was amazing with nice and amazing staff! "
