Good option to be close to beach or airport

An overnight stay to be close to the airport and it was easy to check in and out, the room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Convenient location, close to metro stop, restaurants, shops, & beach. Nice facilities. When another guest was in the hallway or someone walked by on the street, it seemed that therr were no noise barriers & they were in the apartment with you. However, as soon as they were gone, it was quiet & peaceful.

Could have been amazing, but....

The unit is beautiful whe you walk in, wow factor. The longer you stay the more problems you encounter. There are no knives,forks,spoons and various other cutlery missing, not even a bottle opener in wine country. The floor is collapsing all overthe apartment, you must know about it as where its modt damaged you put a rug over it, right outside the bathroom door. Plug sockets all slanted, no lights bext to bed, the noise you can here through the other floors ans stairs goes on All night annd early hours of the morning, not much sleep was had. We wont be back, but this apartment could really be a hidden gem in the city. Sad really its in the state it is in

I loved my stay at MyTrip Porto. It felt like home.There are plates and cutlery to have a meal, glasses and cups for a drink. A little box with treats to enjoy a coffee.There are also a mini fridge, espresso coffee machine, microwave and a kettle inside the bedroom. It is walking distance to Matosinhos beach, public transports, lidl and Pingo doce supermarkets. I certainly recommend it to everyone.

I made reservation for a standard room for 3 adults but they made a mistake and gave us a small studio with a full size bed for 2 people. After much negotiation with Expedia and the property management they put in a mattress on the floor for the third person. We can only move to the right room on the second night. I strongly feel that Expedia should credit us for the first night of inconveniences and discomfort to maintain a good customer relations.

The property was surely and excellent choice when rooms were new. Maintenance is not great. Walls need a fresh paint coat. Carpets are stained. Towels are worn out. AC works perfectly. Area is quiet. There are many sea food restaurants nearby in all possible budgets and qualities. I will recommend owners to pay more attention to maintenance

lovely little apartment/loft,but noisy due to thin walls, crying baby and seagulls. Poor nights sleep, had to get out the earplugs.There was no password available for the internet, very inconvenient for a transient traveler. Also, beware of metal bed frame, the corner got me! OUCH and hell, I need my knee for walking! Thank God there was an ice block in the freezer.

Lovely accommodation. Exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend. I had to call to get access, my fault for missing the mails and codes but they were really helpful. Only one minor note, although there is a code entry front gate into the complex, and a code entry front door, the inside mechanism (if I remember correctly) has a lock ‘button’ and while I’m sure it worked, as it clicked, it wasn’t really possible to test the door was locked from the outside. Just something I am aware of as a female travelling alone for work.

Best location on Matosinhos. 1-minute walk to Sul Matosinhos metro, 5 minutes to the beach, and plenty of restaurants and good groceries around. Chsrming property. The walls are pretty tin and staircase is squeaking a lot. temperature control goes random at time and door locks are tiny. great housekeeping service. Overall i recommend and will consider booking again.

Could be good, if they tried

This place has the potential to be good but has missed the mark on a few levels. First, it wasn't very clean on check in. The table in the room had not been wiped down. Luckily, I travel with alcohol wipes. Second, there was not soap in the bathroom. None. After using the toilet you will need to crawl in the shower to use shampoo to wash your hands. I've never stayed in a place that didn't have soap for your hands. Third, no towels or washing liquid for the dishes. The room offered a set of dishes for two people. However, they offer now way to wash them and no towels to dry them. I went through a lot of toilet paper drying dishes. Fourth, the bedding is absurd. They do not use fitted sheets on the bed so any movement while you sleep will remove the sheet from the mattress exposing the sticky, uncomfortable, rubber mattress cover. Finally, if you are a light sleeper, this may not be your place. You can hear every thing from the corridor and the poor sound isolation in the rooms makes even normal walking sound like a herd of baby elephants. Now, on the plus side, the lcoation is good; very close to the metro. The a/c works pretty well. Keyless entry is great. Remote staff is nice and responsive.
