"I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip. My daughter is 13 so I then had to pay an additional fee as if she was supposed to stay in a separate room… this is on top of the already extremely high room rate. The other thing that is quite odd. "The hotel is beautiful. The rooms were clean and huge. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was a full size shower and counter, which is not common in Europe. Breakfast was good and so was lunch using room service. We would definitely want to stay here again."

"Had a lovely stay here. Room was clean and had everything I needed for my short stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. A great hotel as shops and venues are right at hand. Also perfect for catching bus back to airport as the stop is just a couple of minutes walk down the road. Had a lovely breakfast here too. Will definitely stay here again."
