Which I really didn’t expect because it was a Best Western Plus I expected it would be only acceptable as I had stayed at others and that’s what I found. But since this had a Plus after the name I guess that meant it was a great hotel, it really was."

"The rooms are meticulously clean and welcoming. Thoughtfully furnished with extra pillows, coffee maker, microwave, refrig - with extras like wall mounted shampoos, lotions, hairdryers, iron and board. Breakfast is extra ordinary. Staff is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Grounds are well kept and Inn has a great location in a residential area (condos) near I 94 - but far enough away you do not hear the traffic. Near restaurants and gas. I feel safe as a single woman traveler and will continue to use whenever I need to be in Portage. Not much for kids to do - which makes for a quiet stay but tough on parents."
