"I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. "Friendly reception staff, we arrived before check in time, our rooms were ready so we were able to go straight to them which was great after an early start. The view over the marina was stunning. The breakfast experience was lovely - good choice, eating outside in the sun with the view over the marina/sea, and pianist playing. We were given a flower each on our departure day, a nice touch. The only disappointments were that my daughter was unable to borrow an iron, which was bizarre- often there is one provided in every room, or at least one is available on request - and that the water in the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi was quite cold. The sauna however was lovely. The bedding was good quality as were the blackout curtains, making for a good night's sleep. "
"Very clean hotel. Staff were wonderful 👍 rooms were spotless . Breakfast was very good.
I huge plus five minutes walk to down town, train station and bus station."
"Location, location, location. A couple of hundred yards/meters from the old city center in an older charming eclectic neighborhood. Close to great restaurants and sightseeing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was of a decent size with a pretty view. Obrigado!"
"Exceptional property! We were greeted and shown around the property and all questions answered. Given several suggestions of restaurants and things to do. Would stay again. "
