"The owners and the staff that work here are the absolute sweetest! I arrived early due to an overnight flight, and when I asked if they could store my luggage until check-in time, they let me check-in early! I was so grateful because I was exhausted. The room was clean and conveniently located right across the street from Porretto Beach. The air conditioning was a freak and kept me nice and cool during the humid days. The shower pressure was great! Loved that this property had a fridge and microwave in the unit. It’s an older motel and it could use some upgrades, but it was clean, comfortable, and suitable for my stay. The staff was wonderful here! I felt very welcomed and safe. Would definitely stay here again during a future trip to Galveston."

"We went on a cruise and this hotel was the most convenient location to our ship. It was only a 5 min walk to the port. Staff was very friendly, and check in was quick and effortless. Highly recommend for cruise travelers."
