This is a basic, older motel. Set your expectations accordingly. But it's in an excellent beach-front location close to historic east-end Galveston. It was not perfectly clean, but still okay. Breakfast options were limited. The staff was very accommodating. The area felt safe and was walkable.

An older hotel, but well maintained. TV didnt work so called the front desk and someone was there within 5 minutes to fix it. Then discovered no towels or wash cloths in the room, called again and went to the front desk after waiting an hour. Other than that, great beach access and close enough for a walk to the pier.

Due to construction there was no beach view from the lower floor. Did not read the small print so wasn’t expecting the $15 parking fee, something you might expect in a *****. The rooms were old but clean. The pool looked good although we did not use. Perhaps due to different nationality I felt the staff was rude and unhelpful

Great spot for the piece. Right across from the beach. That also means some of the metal appliances have some rust due to the salt. Staff was nice. Bed was comfy, AC works and there is the boardwalk just a 15 minute walk away.

Room was advertised as having 2 queen size beds but really had 2 full size. The power outlets on the desk lamp were loose and needed replacement. But the closeness of the beach was really good. On-site personnel were good but need a little more practice with the English language.

Overall, my experience was okay. We chose this place primarily for the pool, but unfortunately, it was green and not inviting, which was disappointing. On a positive note, our room felt clean and well-kept, which is always a plus. However, I did notice that the property could use better maintenance to enhance the overall experience. While it served its purpose for our short stay, I felt that the price was a bit high for just one night, especially considering the additional charge for parking. In summary, it was fine for a brief stopover, but there’s room for improvement in terms of amenities and maintenance.

Our room that we got was not the best. The shower or the bathtub faucet constantly dripped when we walked in there. There was a pile of water all over the floor, and there was a towel hanging on the back of the door. I thought somebody had stayed in the room before us. The bed was still made and stuff. There was rust all over the lamp. There was dirt around the TV stand. We didn’t have a comforter so we froze the first night because we got there late ended up having to ask for a comforter and they asked me four times if I had one, and I kept telling them no It’s not the worst place we’ve stayed at, but it’s definitely not the best if we had her kids with us I probably would’ve got a different hotel but it was just my husband and I so we just stayed. The beds were soft though that was a plus it’s really close to the beach. The breakfast is literally a waffle juice, a croissant or bread and that’s it and every time I went in there the waffle maker or the waffle mix wouldn’t come out and then they gave me rags, but it was like cut up towels. We’re all frayed.

My family & I arrived on Thursday July 3rd. When waiting to get checked in, we overheard a lady complaining that her room had black mold and the cleanliness of the room was awful. We understand that some people just are unhappy traveling and complain so took it with a grain of salt. Checked in, received our room number and key, room was at the back of the property. All doors on back of property look like they’ve been beaten. Awful looking. The toilet never flushed the entire time. We had to plunge it every single time we used it. The toilet was also not secured to the floor. It lifted and leaned. The room floors were dirty, black feet and the bathroom was filth. People in parking lot 20 feet from my car blasting off fireworks. Workers present and don’t stop them. Trash all over parking lot. Positive - the room got very cold! Loved that.
