"The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. "Lovely large clean room, with separate bathroom. Great bar and restaurant area. Great Sunday lunch. Great stopover"

" Public areas were good but hotel areas less so, the corridors were a bit dated but my room was very shabby, noisy, above public toilets with hand driers loud and constant, outside was the courtyard area with loud music and people talking loudly. Plus the fumes from cigarettes/vapes coming through the sash single glazed windows. After a long hard day it was not what I wanted or needed. Informed staff member on leaving but they took no details nor said they would inform the manager"

"Great little pub with large outside seating area. Pizza night Fridays & very nice too. Room very comfy a little warm being at the top of the building but had a good air con fan. Probably not a common problem in this part of the world!!!"
