"The Wild Pheasant hotel is in an attractive building set well back from the road. It has ample parking. Our room was very quiet. It had very comfortable beds and a great shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent and our continental breakfast was adequate. The menu for a cooked breakfast was very ample. All the staff we met we're delightful, chatty and helpful"

"Breakfast food was badly cooked and service was poor.. However lunch was excellent in respect of food and service, There was some noise from the bar and lounge area in the late evening which disturbed some of our sleep and we were astounded to see a bible had been thrown on a roof overlooking reception.ลmnh"

"Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway"

"Staff always excellent and great service by everyone. Stayed here 3 times in last 2 months and 1 more to go in September and no problems at all. Room good size and has mini fridge, complimentary waters, iron & ironing board , sky TV and free car parking as standard which are pluses."

"Best hotel I have stayed in for some time. Lovely setting excellent food with staff that couldn't have been better on arrival, in the bar/restaurant service , breakfast and check out . Great value for money. Shame only got to stay for a single night as was on business trip I think it will be one to use in the future not only for business."
