"I booked two rooms at 5pm and my booking was accepted. When we arrived at 7 we were told our room would not be ready for 2 hours. I’m not sure why I was able to book the rooms when they had not been cleaned and wouldn’t be ready for at least 2 hours. They offered a communal shower room but still not good enough. "This was an excellent place to stay in the Grand Baie area, especially because of the wonderful staff. The property itself is nice and well maintained. We liked the half board package, breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The staff really sets this place apart. I wasn’t feeling well during our stay and they went above and beyond to accommodate room service food. We rented a car and parking was sometimes tight. "Had a fantastic time! The facilities were perfrect, well maintained and clean. staff were helpful and hospitable in general. We could also see dolphins swimming near the resort. Very happy with our stay. Only minor point is that dinner reservations at the restaurants on site can be a bit tricky (e.g. we were given a later booking even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time we requested)."
