"Room was ok"

"The room was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary apothecary scents from the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It should be made available to sell. I would have purchased a few bottles. It would have been nice to have complimentary parking or free valet when you are staying at the hotel."

"The good: The free Airport Shuttle and Cruise Port Shuttles were why we booked here and those worked out great! Water pressure and temperature were great in the shower (not something I can say for other more expensive lodging in Fort Lauderdale). Pool was open so if you’re a Northerner then maybe you’ll go in(not heated). If you’re looking for a place to sleep the night before your cruise this would be a great choice! The hotel next door had a great bar/restaurant with happy hour specials that we enjoyed. The not so good: everything is showing signs of wear/use here. Rusty metal, carpet stains, etc. Like much of Florida, not very walk-friendly. We walked 2-miles one-way to a grocery store for wine and seltzers for the cruise. Most of that was on roads without sidewalk. So budget in some Uber trips if you want to go anywhere. "

"We booked 2 rooms as we were travelling with our 6 children. We arrived onsite and the hotel had police parked all out front... it literally looked like an active crime scene! We reluctantly went to check-in and learned they host wild parties every weekend, hence why all the police. They gave us 2 rooms on opposite ends of the hotel... we explained we werent comfortable being that far away from our children, but they didnt care. Rooms were in mediocre condition, could definitely use some tlc. While settling in, we noticed the pull out sofas didnt have sheets or pillows (our booking for for 5 people in each room). We contacted the front desk, and they said they didnt have anymore sheets or pillows. It was too late to find another accommodation at this point, so we ended up laying bath towels down and sharing a pillow from another bed. Absolutely ridiculous... and one of the most absurd experiences we have ever had at a hotel! Would not recommend this hotel at all, and we will never return. Poorly run, not at all as advertised, unsafe, rude staff, and way overpriced. "

"What a great experience. The doorman the front desk everything to love about a great hotel at a very fair price in Miami Beach. Love the hammocks around the pool area. Love all the palm trees to create a lush tropical paradise with shade. Super pleased with everything. "
