Very disappointed. I've used Hotels.com for year and this was the first time I was hit with an additional charge - and for £65 for cleaning! I'd already paid £115 for the apartment. The apartment is in a great location but was small and only one bedroom and the total cost being £180 for one night is ridiculous even for this time of year. There are much larger apartments available in the same complex for less money. To make matters more laughable the apartment was not even that clean, despite the high cleaning charges.
When I called the owner/manager of the apartment to complain that this cleaning charge is not clearly explained on the Hotels.com page they had a 'could not careless attitude' which further let down the whole experience.
In summary the apartment is nice, location fantastic, but pricing is misleading and the total cost is very uncompetitive. Much better out there for less. Be wary of the Cleaning Costs and be wary of Plum Properties whom manage it
