"Its a great location for tge downtown core and an anesthetically appealing hotel but the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is to be desired. We were arriving at 3AM and the outer doors were locked with no one in sight to let us in or help with luggage. It was a little scary, 2 women one who is elderly, downtown in the dark. During check in the male employee behind the desk wasn't welcoming whatsoever. Throughout our stay, the staff kept to themselves, always looking at their computers...

"I rated it 4 stars because the location is not walking distance to main highlights or nightlife that you may want to experience. It was our first trip to the city and didn’t know what areas are most popular to stay in. The property is well maintained and clean. We just had to ask for more towels as we were only given 2 at a time for a party of 3. The breakfast was a plus. We were not to concerned about the hotel location or amenities as we were out all day and only used it to sleep. Overall, it...

"One of the most amazing stays! Beautiful room- staff was absolutely amazing and accompdating- especially for my dad that is handicap. The location was perfect in a central area with plenty of accommodations at walking distance. I would def return!"

"Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. "

"The breakfast package we purchased with the room, was not that good, in my honest opinion. we only ate it 1 of the 3 mornings we were there. thankfully, there are lots of restaurants and pastry shops in walking distance! but the hotel was 10/10! very nice staff, the rooms are beautiful and spacious and clean! would stay here again, just wouldn't purchase the breakfast package or eat lunch at the hotel."

"The apartment was fine. 2bd, 2 bath in good condition. Nelson who is staff was excellent, very attentive and super helpful. The issue is the noise. Very difficult to sleep, the window pane is thin and you can hear everything happening in the street. You would have motorcycles passing by at all hours of the night and would wake you up because of the exhaust, and then they would rev the engine. It was difficult to get a good night sleep every night. "

"The hotel staff was fantastic. The public areas were great, although the room was a bit tired. A/C worked well, but it was loud. Rooms not very soundproof, so neighbors who were not being "loud" still felt noisy. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the free coffee and pastries on the 4th floor landing were lovely."
