"Location was beautiful, although several things were not up to par for a resort. I spend 5 days of my honeymoon at Shana, and the room wasn't honeymoon material for the cost. The room had a great view and was clean, but the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the room was very dated (fixtures, bathroom, rusty patio gate, bed and all furniture). One other thing to note was the parking. If you don't mind parking at a 45° angle they have plenty of spots, but if you do you are out of luck. The...

"I like the check in process on this property. The staff was very helpful too. There are a few restaurants nearby but going to the towns of Quepos or Manuel Antonio requires an uber but is very cheap. You can order food too via fiesta express."

"What an amazing hotel. Too many awesome things to name them all. I never write reviews. Their staff, the pools, the personal concierge, seeing monies, macaws, lizards was all just a a first class experience. You are not close to walk anywhere as it’s up the mountain a bit- but they shuttle to the hot spots and Uber is crazy cheap and fast to get there."

"Great views. Monkeys, toucans, and macaws seen right from our balcony! Steep road to the entrance with literally 4-5 parking spots at the top. You can park at the bottom and ride the golf cart up. Buffet breakfast was good. Activities and grounds (fountains, ect)were, Im assuming, shut down for maintenance."
