"The resort itself is very nice and clean with a beautiful view. The staff was pretty friendly as well. However, note two important things- for one, the beach is very rocky and not easy to walk along. And two, the hotel plays music loudly for the evening hours until midnight or 2am depending on what day of the week. This music is very loud and can be heard from the rooms so sleeping under these conditions is very difficult. Keep this in mind when booking a relaxing getaway."

"Lady at the front desk stated My card got declined and asked me to pay her in cash. It was all a lie because when I told her I had no cash she proceeded to process my payment with the same card it was “declined” and payment went through with no issues. While getting my information she kept telling me about how easy it was just to pay her with cash. Very awkward moment and definitely something fishy was going on. Next time will consider other options before this one."

"This is such a great hidden gem. Only a quick (less than 10minute drive) from the beach town of El Tunco. If renting a car, there is safe parking available on the Casa Maya property and parking lots for a fee ($3) at El Tunco. The Casa Maya staff, including the parking attendant Luis who helped bring our bags in, were very kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. The check in process was quick and easy! Once inside our room, it was very beautiful, well kept and very clean. You can tell they maintain the property. Additionally, the views of the pool and restaurant overlooking the water are breathtaking. There are many lounging chairs, couple hammocks, and couches to relax on. There is also a cool cave you can explore on the property and swimming areas, but be mindful there are many huge rocks. Breakfast served was traditional Salvadoran platters but also included other options such as pancakes and crepes. The drinks were also delicious and the wait staff were very friendly. They do offer lunch and dinner, but we did not have a chance to try. There are also many great restaurants to try nearby, including Betos (highly recommend). Lastly, this resort does offer additional amenities such as massages, surf lessons, and tour to Santa Ana volcano! Be sure to ask and check it out."

"muy mala experiencia para el precio que se paga tuve una habitación con vista al mal de las mejores que tienen me tuvieron más de una hora fuera mi habitación porque el aire acondicionado no servía y estaba liqueando y mojó la cama tuvieron que cambiar el colchón y ropa de cama. tambien en dado momento tomando un baño en la regadera dejó de llegar agua por unos 3 minutos o más muy mal servicio la verdad no volvería a ese hotel"
