"Due to recent high sea level and waves the beach is pretty much gone 😞, they are only rocks left but this is everywhere in La Libertad. The waves are amazing for surfing though!!"

"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. "Our 2nd time staying in this Amazing hotel! We absolutely love Boca Olas! The room is impeccably clean, spacious, and well decorated. The pools are beautiful. Amazing breakfast options with the view of the ocean. Excellent customer service! Lovely garden and resting area. You can even make reservation to book for their pool which is located in the second floor. The location is Excellent because it’s a good short walk to Playa Tunco and yet it’s still quite not to hear the activities going on...
