It would just be nice if the guest didn't have to ask the staff for 2 days to get the dishes to the kitchen. Especially if you book a room with a kitchen, which you need for a diet. Everything else was ok.

Stayed two weeks. The rooms are decently clean but the area is very noisy and all that sound comes right inside. It’s worse in the “apartment” style units with cooking facilities. They’re in their own tower and have two extra windows, plus the door opens to outside. As for the cooking facilities, they don not have a microwave as advertised and they provide no cookware or dishes or utensils - but they will promise to get them sometime in the future. They’ll also promise to get clothing hangers, but never actually will. There is no laundry on site as advertised. Not in the room and not as a service. Night staff are rude, day staff are friendly if unhelpful. Night staff also cannot read Spanish well or understand any English, so be prepared to speak in only Spanish after 7 or 8pm if you need anything. The pool is sketchy and it and the main floor lobby area are sparse and unwelcoming. Do not expect to spend any time outside your room unless you’re leaving the hotel. There is a mall across the street. It’s likely one of the most expensive malls in the country, where you will find a very sketchy looking laundromat. The grocery store there is good for selection, but the prices are mismatched or simply untrue on most items we purchased. Air conditioning at the hotel worked very well and the wifi worked well most of the time. Bring your own Netflix account if you plan to use the tv at all.

We had an amazing 3-nights stay here, the location is very close to a lot of places. The place is nice, simple, and clean, especially for its price. The staffs has been super friendly as well, they provided all we need you just got to ask, they also showed us a close local food place which we really loved! Will definitely book with them again!

The only problem was the patio door didn’t lock. I stacked-up furniture against the door that would knock over and awaken me if intrusion. Other than that it was a clean quiet place.

Newly renovated, incredibly clean and wonderful staff. Bare bones hotel but there is a cafecito one block away for breakfast and a shopping mall across the street. You are about a 10 minute drive to the beach and 5th Avenue. Can't beat the price. There is a small pool and parking in the front and rear of the building.

The staff were very friendly, hotel was decent for price and clean. the pool was tiny! Looked larger in pictures. Surrounding area not the safest and only like 5 parking spots in front, otherwise you have to park in the back which doesn’t look safe at all

This hotel was great. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, nice peaceful little pool and in a good location. Everything you need is right across the street. Short cab ride to 5th Definitely would stay again.

The hotel is very basic with no restaurant or amenities; good for a couple of nights stay, probably not best for a 6-night stay, which is what we did. When we got there, we noticed a stain on the sheet, and asked for a clean one. We informed the maid and the manager. After about an hour with no response, we went back down with a picture of the complaint, they handed us a sheet and we changed it ourselves. We also went 2 days without hot water. The first day we didn't say anything. The second day we were told our hot water heater had been turned off (they apparently have individual heaters for the rooms). They went to the boiler room and turned it back on, so keep this in mind if you have an issue. The ability to speak some Spanish will be greatly helpful to you! If you are an American, think of this place much like a Super 8 or Motel 6... a good place to sleep, but not advised for a long-term stay. There is laundry a few minutes away and a grocery store, bank and mall across the street.

Lovely, comfy, friendly hotel
Fantastic price/value ratio Friendly front desk (thanks Suri for all your help) Spacious clean modern rooms Great Aircon English TV channels via Sky (you may need to change the settings to English on the sky remote) Massive comfortable bed. Quiet location and easy parking. Free hot/cold water dispenser in reception. Nice enough pool with sunbeds and chairs 50m to Oxxo (like 7eleven) and across the street from Centro Mayo, a biggish shopping centre with a huge Soriana supermarket, McDonalds and food court. Some tips: as the hotel is not near the beach you can simply take your car and park it at Walmart Playa del Carmen (free) and walk 4 min to Quinta Avenida and 6 minutes to the beach. Alternatively plenty of parking near Quinta Avenida for 10pesos (50ct US) per hour. Lots of Covid testing stations along Quinta Avenida in case you need an Antigen or PCR Test before flying home. Prices between 400-600pesos for Antigen Test and 1800-2000pesos for PCR Test. I would stay here again without hesitation. Maybe it was my room but occasionally the internet just didn't work (it always worked in reception).
