"For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony "

"This was the most incredible experience for me. The staff was very attentive and friendly and I felt at home. The restaurants are amazing and the view is just awesome. The staff is on it and your request are always taken into consideration. Specially the concierge team ( Gaida) was very helpful to me and made me feel the love. It was a truely remarkable experience. "Absolutely fabulous place, gorgeously located, beautiful premises overlooking Los Gigantes. The staff are fabulous also, incredibly kind and attentive, a special shout out to Angela and Nacho, who were lovely and funny and so helpful. "It is important to note that this is a very small hostel. But that being said, they treat everybody that walks in their door like family.
