"The location was great as it was just around the corner from a metro station, making it easy to get around the city. There were also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops within a short walk, so everything we needed was close by. The rooms were on the smaller side, but that's pretty typical for Paris. There was a water refill station along with complimentary tea and coffee available in the lobby, which were a great touch."

"My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Maison Proust last week and it was a great experience. The entire hotel including the rooms and the common areas were extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple though delicious and the coffee was great. The bar offers a good selection of drinks and the lobby area including the round library are designed with great taste. We got to have the spa reserved for the two of us for an hour. What we liked most was utmost coordination among the staff...

"Beautiful apartment newly redone and well equipped. Comfortable bed, two smart tvs a Sonos system and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very quiet at night. A little out of the touristy areas (which is good) but close by to everything in the Marais and Notre Dame, the Louvre etc. all walkable. Lots of good restaurants and close to good shopping. We will definitely be back. "

The decor is very beautiful but personally I would have chosen a chair over an extended bar with cocktail mixing facility. It would have been nice if we had been informed that the control panel for the Aircon is just for show and that we needed to ring reception to have the temperature changed. "I really wanted to like this hotel. I travel to Paris regularly and it is convenient to where I need to be so when it was finally available for a few nights when I needed , I was happy to book. The location is convenient , albeit on a busy street . The staff is lovely and overall the hotel older, but is kept clean . The real issue of why I would never return is the room. When I booked it mentioned a courtyard view in the basic room. The photo showed sunlight coming through. This is not the case...

"Beautiful, charming rooms with modern amenities. The beds and linens were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Le Marais, within easy walking distance of everything. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the breakfast, which was fairly average."
