"We stayed in the Paddocks so having our own little kitchen was a bonus as in preparation we bought a few breakfast bits with us. The B&B was beautifully presented, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wayne met us on arrival and had also sent detailed instructions before we arrived. We thoroughly recommend staying here and we will consider doing so again when in the area visiting family. "Tranquil location and lovely views. Comfortable, clean room."

"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

"Well set out hotel with pleasant staff and good facilities. Our family room was spacious and comfortable with a decent bed. Dinner was excellent and breakfast good. Minor niggles were that the cleaning of the breakfast tables could have been a bit better (crumbs left behind) and having to pay for weekday parking."

"Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. "
