"Great little getaway food was great there isn’t a lot of amenities local but to us that’s why we like it ,a little time to wind down Staff friendly and rooms nice and clean "

"The room was really clean. Bath was updated and loved the towel warmer. The rooms could use an update, down-side was is was really dark. More lamps or brighter bulbs would be appreciated. The dining area has great food, we had a dinner and two breakfasts. The full English was more than my husband could eat. All in all a delightful stay. "

"I was nervous about this property having booked in a rush and not having read reviews. However upon arrival I found it easy to park and a lovely entrance with beautiful character features. The ladies in reception were friendly and welcoming and they upgraded me to a superior room which I was very pleased with. "The hotel was ideal for the one night stay we needed prior to attending a funeral locally. The staff at check in/out were professional, polite and friendly. The restaurant staff were also very friendly, attentive and engaged in conversation. The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choice depending on guest’s preferences! Highly recommend!"
